Free to use

MegaRows is free to use for personal, educational and business or commercial purposes, for now. You don’t need an account, and every tool works the same for everyone.

We may change this in future, for example by adding paid features or plans. If we do, we will update these terms and the date at the top of this page. A change applies from that date on: it never applies to how you used MegaRows before it.

Your files and your results

Your files are processed in your browser and never uploaded: we never see them (see our privacy statement). Your files, and the charts, tables and exports you make from them, are yours. We claim no rights in them.

You are responsible for your data: for having the right to use it, and for keeping your own copies. MegaRows helps you look at and work with data, but please check any result that matters before you rely on it, for example in a design, a report or a decision about safety or money. How we check our maths shows the checks we run on the calculations.

Use it fairly

So that MegaRows keeps working for everyone, please don’t:

• try to disrupt or overload the site, its forms or its anonymous counts, or get around the limits that keep them working;
• send the feedback form, the waitlist form or the anonymous counts automatically or in bulk;
• use MegaRows for anything unlawful.

We may block traffic that does any of these.

Our software and content

© 2026 MegaRows. The MegaRows software, the site’s design and its content, such as its text, images and guides, are protected by copyright and other laws, and all rights are reserved. You may use the site as these terms allow, but you may not copy, redistribute, resell or create derivative works of the MegaRows software or site, except as the law allows.

The sample data files on megarows.com/samples are an exception: they are dedicated to the public domain under CC0 1.0 and free to use for anything.

MegaRows is built with open-source components, which are under their own licences: see our open-source credits.

No warranty

We work hard to make MegaRows accurate and reliable, but it is provided “as is” and “as available”, to the extent the law allows. We don’t promise that it will always be available, that it is free of errors, or that it suits a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, MegaRows is not liable for any loss or damage that comes from using, or not being able to use, the site or its results, including lost data, lost profits, business interruption or any indirect or consequential loss.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes any liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you use MegaRows as a consumer, your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when we add new features or plans. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page. A change applies from that date, never to anything before it; if you keep using MegaRows after it, the updated terms apply.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes go to the courts of England and Wales, unless the law gives you the right to use the courts where you live.
